Terms & Privacy Policy
Effective: October 6, 2026
Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any website, application, product, or service operated by Motorcity Automated Systems, LLC ("MCA," "we," "us," or "our"), including its subsidiaries Detroit Core Automation, LLC and Detroit Quality Services, LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
MCA operates as a holding company providing (a) targeted micro-SaaS software products through Detroit Core Automation, LLC, and (b) physical property maintenance and trade services through Detroit Quality Services, LLC. Specific product terms, service tiers, and pricing are presented at the point of subscription or service request and are incorporated herein by reference.
3. Eligibility & Authority
You represent that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. Use of our services on behalf of an entity confirms your authority to bind that entity.
4. Accounts & Security
Certain services require an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse our services, including: reverse engineering, scraping or harvesting data, attempting to disrupt service, transmitting malware, violating applicable law, infringing intellectual property, or using our tools to process data you lack rights to process. Voice-first and field-capture tools are provided to streamline legitimate operational workflows only.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, designs, documentation, and content provided by MCA are the property of MCA or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated herein. Client data remains the property of the client subject to the Privacy Policy.
7. Payment, Billing & Subscriptions
Paid services are billed in advance on a recurring basis unless otherwise stated. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change fees with reasonable notice. Physical service quotes (including those generated via Audit2Quote) are estimates and do not constitute a binding contract until accepted in writing by both parties.
8. Physical Services (Detroit Quality Services, LLC)
DQS provides property maintenance and trade services in select Metro Detroit service areas. Service availability, scheduling, and scope are confirmed at booking. Work is performed by MCA employees or vetted 1099 independent contractors. While we strive for quality craftsmanship, MCA is not liable for consequential or indirect damages arising from physical services beyond the scope expressly agreed in the service order.
9. Privacy & Data Handling
Our Privacy Policy below describes how we collect, use, and protect information. Certain products (e.g., FamilyVault) employ zero-knowledge encryption such that MCA cannot access your encrypted content. We do not sell personal data. Voice and field data captured by our tools is processed to deliver the service and, where applicable, retained for compliance record-keeping.
10. Disclaimers
Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Jurisdictions may not allow limitation of implied warranties; such limitations apply to the extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MCA and its subsidiaries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MCA and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of third-party rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and governing law — shall survive.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan for any dispute arising herefrom, except that MCA may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Review this page periodically.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be directed to Motorcity Automated Systems, LLC, Detroit, MI, or via the Contact section of this site.
Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (account, contact, and billing details), information generated as you use our services (field notes, voice captures, compliance records), and technical data (device, usage, logs). For zero-knowledge products, encrypted content is stored in a form we cannot decrypt.
2. How We Use Information
To provide, operate, and improve our services; process payments; dispatch physical services; maintain compliance records; prevent fraud and abuse; and communicate with you. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
3. Sharing & Disclosure
We share data with service providers under contract who process it on our behalf (hosting, payments, analytics), with vetted 1099 contractors to the extent needed to fulfill a service order, and when required by law or to protect our rights. Subprocessors are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
4. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. Zero-knowledge products ensure even MCA cannot access encrypted user content. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Compliance-related records (e.g., eDVIR, permit logs) are retained per applicable regulatory requirements.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights; we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
